The Punkhouse

Two weeks ago, The XPUNKS broke new ground with their inaugural In Real Life event, named The Punkhouse, located in the iconic A’DAM Tower venue, The Loft, in Amsterdam. This event was not just another gathering; it was a mixture of crypto and techno, a rave that allowed enthusiasts to network and dance until the late hours of the night.

The Punkhouse was not just a get-together but also a revelation, showcasing a radically different approach to what crypto/NFT events typically entail. It was a breath of fresh air in the crypto event space, blending technology and music perfectly together, and was received with enthusiasm by the XPUNKS community who flew in from all over the world

With a DJ line-up consisting of Cris Vond, Alignment, and Cloudy, rave enthusiasts had an evening full of raw, intense techno beats in an unforgettable venue that overlooks the Amsterdam skyline. There even was a speakeasy section that was only accessible to XPUNKS holders, where they could relax and talk to each other off the dance floor.

A Seamless Experience with BPM

To ensure a seamless and smooth experience for every attendee, XPUNKS collaborated with BPM Wallet, a distinguished Event Ticketing Provider on the XRP Ledger. BPM, a recipient of the XRPL wave 4 grants, has been building on the XRP Ledger for a considerable period and even has their own NFT collection that they launched through onXRP called “Revellers”. The Revellers collection opens up a world of unique perks and uses within BPM. Each “Revellers” NFT comes with its own set of cool features and benefits, giving owners more ways to enjoy what BPM has to offer. It’s a big step for BPM in making their space more exciting and engaging for everyone.

Branding by Unflake WTF

The event was a visual spectacle, with extensive branding assets of The XPUNKS prominently displayed on a large beamer above the DJ booth. This strategic placement ensured that any photographs or videos taken during the event would inevitably feature some of the distinctive branding. The VJ assets, branding, short clips on the beamer, and the aftermovie were in fact made by Unflake WTF. A boutique crypto studio on the XRP Ledger with their own native token $FKM and a cult-like reputation on the XRP Ledger. They always create unique and memorable branding assets, and for The Punkhouse the XPUNKS collaborated with them on this.

Conclusion

The Punkhouse has undoubtedly paved the way for more innovative and immersive experiences in the crypto and NFT space, and it will be exciting to see how The XPUNKS and other creative minds will continue to push the boundaries and redefine the norms in this ever-evolving landscape
